My client is recommend to me by my close friend because I told her that I need a client to be observed in my case study and she said that her friend has a child 6 years old and his named is ‘Ton-Ton.

SEC.C- PRESENTING PROBLEM
According to his mother, Ton-ton is a spoiled brat child. Since his the only child, what he wants is what he gets. And every time his father visited Ton-ton and they go out together, Ton-ton father buy anything what Ton-ton wants. And once she neglected Ton-ton to buy or to get something his bad temper will come out.

SEC.D- PSYCHOSOCIAL HISTORY
D1- TIMELINE

2008 2009 2010

In 2008 at the age of 3, his parents were separated. After the separation, Ton-ton and his mother back to the parents of his mother. For Ton-ton this is another adjustment for his environment. But after the separation of his parent, the communication between him and his father did not stop. Every month Ton-ton receives financial support from his father.
In 2009, at the age of 4, the adjustment for his environment happen because his grandmother died.
In 2010, at the age of 5 Ton-ton enrolled by his mother at kinder.

D2- GENOGRAM

Maria and Ruben is married couple who had a daughter named Gervacia. And also Maria and Jose is a married couple who had a son named Antonio. Antonio and Gervacia got married and gave birth to Tonpelgski. The X means they are already died, straight line means he has a good relationship vice versa to the broken line.

D3- SOCIOGRAPH
             IN FAMILY

IN SCHOOL

IN NEIGHBORHOOD

In this graph, it shows that Ton-ton like those people who are connected in a straight line while he hates those people who are connected in a broken line.

D4- SELF- MASTERY
My client knows his name, birth-date, age, gender, address, parents’ name, grandparents’ name, and the name of his Tita’s and Tito’s and also the separation of his parents. I ask her all of this and he answered it all without the help of his mother.

D5- DISSECTING CHILDS QUALITY OF RELATIONSHIP IN THE FAMILY

His relationship towards his mother and father is good. Even he is far to his father he always wants to see his father. And his relationship towards his tito is not good sometimes because thet always bullied Ton-ton. His relation towards his cousin is good also.

D6- THINGS THE CHILD ARE CAPABLE OF DOING
Things that my client are capable of doing are, his imagination in creating arts like drawing and combining colors are good and also he is good in writing and reading numbers from 1 to 100.

SEC.E- THEORITICAL FRAMEWORK
After reviewing Sec. A-D, the theory that I will used for Tonton is Moral Development Theory by Lawrence Kohlberg. He used the three levels of moral development which are are preconventional, conventional, and postconventional. I used the first level which is preconventional because it is all about self. Preconventional focuses on centers on the self. The self is dominated by other material forces of power and it satisfies the self at the expense of what other people can do or what benefit can be achieved.And also the theory of Sigmund Freud "PSYCHOANALYSIS THEORY". It has three components: the id, ego, and superego. I choose id because it represents the biological self in personality. Preoccupied with its own needs and desires, the id is entirely self-centered and selfish like pre-conventional of moral development by Lawrence kohlberg.

SEC.F- PROGNOSIS
My first impression to my client behavior, he has a bad tantrumor he is a spoiled child. All he wants must be followed by his parents. He is a self-centered child. All the things that he wants and the attention must be on him.
Based on my observation, the one reason why my client behave like that because he affected by the separation of his parentsand since he is the only child, ht spoiled by his parents eventhough they are separated. If Tonton go out with his father all the things that Tonton want, his father gave it.

SEC.J- SUMMARY, CONCLUSION, RECOMMENDATION
My client name is Tonton, he is 6 years old and only child.Tonton came from a broken family. His family separated when he is three years old.His relationship towards his family is stable.
The theory that I formulate for Tonton behavior are moral development the pre-conventional by LawrenceKohlberg and Psychoanalysis the id by Sigmund Freud.

CONCLUSION:
I therefore conclude that my client child has those kind of attitude because his parents always provide the things that the child wanted, so the child defense mechanism when his parent didn't give the things that he wants is to make tantrum.

RECOMMENDATION:
I recommend to the parent of my client child to minimize giving of material things. Continue to let the child understand that not all he wants will be giving to him or he will get all of those he wants. The child must have limitation in getting things.

MY PERSONAL THERAPY ENTITLED MOTIVATION THERAPY

INTRODUCTION:

     Teachers is not only imparting knowledge to the child, not only to teach how to socialized with others to his peers and classmates but also on how the child being motivated inside and outside the classroom. You've heard the cliche',You can lead a horse to a water, but you can't make him drink."Motivating students is like that. It involves not only leading them to topics, but also making them thirsty for knowledge and understanding of these topics. That the learner must be motivated to learn is a basic principle in the teaching-learning process.

VIEW OF HUMAN NATURE:
    Motivation is the process of arousing and sustaining the interest in an activity in order to achieve a goal. It is also the creation of a desire on the part of the learner to perform an activity to satisfy a need. Students motivation has to do with students desire to participate in the learning process. It also concerns the reasons or goals that underlie their involvement in academic activities. Although students may be equally motivated to perform a task, the sources of motivation may differ.
     Clearly a deficit in any of the categories may affect the student’s performance. Students who are hungry or fearful may find it difficult to concentrate on their studies. Students who feel rejected and isolated may refuse to participate fully in class activities.

DEVELOPMENT OF MALADAPTIVE BEHAVIOR
     Motivation Therapist believes that when achievement is aroused, people tend to attribute the performance to one of the following: ability, effort, and luck or task difficulty.
    Motivation therapist can mean the difference between success and failure in the class. Success is attributed to high effort; failure is seen as resulting from low ability or low effort.

FUNCTION OF THE THERAPIST
     Motivation therapist influenced by the individuals’ states, beliefs, interests, goals, and habits of thinking. They inspire, challenge, and stimulate the clients’ ability.  Motivation therapist encourages and support their clients natural curiosity and motivation to learn by attending to individual differences in their perceptions of optimal novelty and difficulty, relevance, and personal choice and control.

GOALS OF THE THERAPY
     The purpose of the motivation therapy is to help clients to regulate and arouse their interest, perception of its usefulness, general desire to achieve, self-confidence, and self-esteem as well as patience and persistence. Encourage the clients to participate in the learning process. Allowing clients to express their needs, desire, or wants.

MAJOR METHOD AND TECHNIQUES
     Motivation therapist formulated basic methods and techniques to arouse the interest, needs and skills of each client.
*     ENVIRONMENT
These techniques help the client in learning process. Once the environment creates warm and accepting yet business-like atmospheres will promote persistent effort and favourable attitudes towards learning. Interesting environment motivates clients by capturing their attention and curiosity.
*     FOCUSING
This method can mean the difference between success and failure. Outcomes is not so much a result of what is achieved by the therapist, but of what to be achieved by the client. When you learn how to focus, you will discover some intelligence, knowledge base and skills.
*     INCENTIVES MOTIVATE LEARNING
Incentives include privileges and receiving praise. Therapists determine an incentive that is likely to motivate an individual at particular time. Client must find satisfaction in learning based on understanding.
*     ORGANIZED MATERIALS
This technique makes the information meaningful to the individual. It includes relating new tasks to those already know. Other ways to relay meanings are to determine whether the person is being taught understand the final outcome desired and instruct them to compare and contrasts idea. Organization of materials enhanced the interest of the child.

APPLICATION
    Kevin is a 7-year-old child. In class discussion he is very timid and during their class activity he did not participate and interact with his classmates. He is alone in one corner. Teacher observed Kevin behaviour and he discovers that he has a low esteem and he has no interest in lesson. Teacher give individual activity to everybody so that each of them will be participated. Teacher think isolation in Kevin’s part  will be washed-out once he fully participate in class activities
